The Royal Berkshire Shooting Ground - also known today as Purdey at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School - is a premier clay shooting facility set across approximately 100 acres of scenic Downland near Pangbourne, Berkshire, just about an hour’s drive or fast‑train ride from Central London. Established in the early 1990s and acquired by the distinguished London-based gunmaker Purdey in 2018 (with rebranding in 2022), the ground is widely regarded as one of the UK’s finest shooting schools
