Who we are

The Shoot List runs this website. To ask a question about your information, email hello@theshootlist.com or use the contact form.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. We use that information to reply to requests to list a shooting ground and to correct details in our listings. We rely on legitimate interests to do this: responding to those requests.

Submissions are delivered through FormCapture (forms.behindthedot.com) so we can read and reply to them. We keep each message for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any follow-up, and then we delete it. We do not sell your message, and we do not use it for marketing.

Spam protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than automated spam. Cloudflare may process technical data, such as your IP address, as part of that check. Their handling of that data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Website hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. On each visit they process your IP address and request data. That processing is covered by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Analytics

Every page uses Simple Analytics to record which pages are visited, along with the referrer, browser, device, and country. Simple Analytics does not use cookies. Their handling of that data is described in the Simple Analytics privacy policy. We rely on legitimate interests to understand which pages are used.

Maps and fonts

Ground pages load Google Maps so you can see where a ground is. Pages also load the Inter font from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a map or a font, Google receives technical data such as your IP address, and the map script can set cookies. Their handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We rely on legitimate interests to show ground locations and to load the site's font.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to object to our use of it. Email hello@theshootlist.com or use the contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
